Can't remember what I have been doing for 3 weeks of July.. It seemed to be super busy, and I am supposed to stay back to clear my backlogs, but damn, only managed to decrease my worklist from 500 to 477... How come it felt like I have cleared more than that??!! I think rumours is true that you can only clear all your worklist when you go for maternity leave or when you resign. Sigh.
Past few days have been like a season for RTAs with young victims. ICU was mad house last week, with 2 demise on the same day. Literally one after another... Tragic and sad. Then comes the news about the freak bus accident in Bedok. Terrible.
Hope the week will be better. For me to catch up on the cases that I have temporarily put aside.. ..

The most terrible thing that can happen in the morning is to find that there is no breakfast to eat.
And this is precisely how I felt this morning...
And this is precisely how I felt this morning...
Seriously nothing to eat...
And this is exactly how I feel... Terribly sad...
But! I shall not be defeated. I ransacked other cupboards, searched through the fridge... And found these...
And then.... they become these... ...

June has ended, and it's the start of July already. When I was still taking my Grad dip course, I remembered how we were complaining that the bond of 1 and 1/2 years is so long, and how we were cheated to sign it... But well.. in a blink of the eyes, we have graduated from the class like 3 months, and we have left one more year to finish the bond.
Turn-over rate is very high in our field... But to me, I cannot see where I can go should I resign from my current work scope. Probably this is what I want, or probably I haven't found what I wanted yet. But at least, I feel happy in my current portfolio (minus the lousy and stupid family-don't-want-to-care cases, and of course, the boxes of backlogs hidden in my cupboard).
I was reading the ST Special Report about Heart transplant. Yes, coming Tuesday is the Transplant Week and me and GCC are invited for an appreciation lunch at SGH. =)
Back to the Special Report, it wrote briefly about the experience of a potential organ recipient. Man, I felt somehow a little emotional when reading it. I really didn't know that a potential recipient could be facing such anxiety, happiness and yet, disappointment.
To think that some cases for potential donor, we were still grumbling about how long the case could drag for days and into the night. I think I would not grumble about that now.
Hope that this article is able to educate more Singaporeans about organ donation, and be more open to it.

Lynn is back from Shenzhen for a week, and the Bowls had a night out together @ siglap area. Had dinner @ Megumi.. Generally food is average. The beef for Suki Yaki was super fresh. Tried a piece of it for the sake of trying. Good taste.
Proceed to Everything with Fries, which is strongly recommended by Yu. Tried their fries, and also most of the desserts. I love the Mille Crepe! (though daf says that it is not nice). Their famous Nutella tart was equally fantastic too!
See? the desserts and fries were wiped out in seconds!
The usual us fighting to be in the photo. And as usual, Yu always gets the best spot.Lets meet again before Lynn flies off!! Or probably we can all meet in Shanghai! =)

its is common to hear parents saying that their children behaved in a particular way, especially negative way, is because the parents have "owed" their children in their previous life, and thus, in this life its payback time. So its somehow similar to the idea that if you did lots of good deeds in ur previous life, you would have lead a better next life.. So if you done bad deeds, its either you would reincarnate into some animals, or just lead a miserable next life.
I dunno how well connected it is, but its just linked me to think about why I am doing what I am doing now, as in my current profession. Usually those people who appreciate my service would tell me that this job is very noble, and tough, and if it were them, they will definitely not able to do it. So, being in this helping profession, does it mean that you have actually done too much good deeds that you are now here to help more people? Or does it mean that you are now just repaying your previous life debts by doing more good now?
For me, I believe that I must have done loads and loads of good stuff in my previous life!! =D

realised that I have not been blogging for a month. Much issues with my laptop's screen... Procrastinated for some time before I brought it for servicing.. They told me that they have changed the whole screen.. worked well for a couple of days, den find that my laptop began to run really slowly and the screen would become blank like suddenly... Sis did a reformat, thought the problem is gone, but apparently, the blank screen still appears on and off. I think i need to bring it back for servicing again. Haiz...
Has been doing another procrastination in May, or rather, in April too -- which phone to buy??!! I have initially zoomed to iPhone v.s HTC desire, den, the Samsung Galaxy S came out recently. damn! Should I just choose to be different, or should I conform?
Finally fulfilled Daf's wishes of going to HTL. Not as wonderful as the first time, coz they don't have my egg tarts anymore. But well, its the company that counts isn't it? As Yu calls it, its a day with the Bowls. Noted that Lynn is coming back to SG soon, and we are meeting on June 6th.. So looking forward to it. =D
Also, got my butt down to Yu's place for a swim before the month ends. Realised that I can just walk in without being stopped by the security! Yays! Which means, I can go for a swim (hopefully weekly) even without Yu to open the door for me! =D

What do you do, when you were walking along the overhead bridge to cross the road and saw a teenage boy lying down at the steps that you are approaching. The boy is holding a guitar in his hand, and with a water container beside him.
For me, I just looked at the boy with some ? look and then continue on walking down the steps (the other side). Then I had a thought. If I goes back home using the overhead bridge, and the boy is still there, I would stop and ask if he needs any help.
So, after about 10mins, I was using the same overhead bridge to get back home, and the boy was still there. I hesitate for a while, and continued my journey back home. SHIT. What has happened to me. Isn't it a normal response to offer help to someone whom you need would need it?
On my way back home, I was thinking why I did not stop and offer help. For whatever reason I can think of, I am ashamed of my decision. boo boo. to think that i am in a helping profession. (kicks my own butt)
Indeed, 我不是好人.
