Sometimes you just need some kicks before you went on to update the blog. I remember myself thinking that I should have my blog updated regularly given that I am in HK, and having more time to blog... Or maybe there are some people out there who are that desperate to find out how I am doing in HK... but well...

Time really flies... And I am now only about 1 month away from going back to SG... It feel like I have just arrived at the HK airport yesterday, and trying once again to adapt to the life as a student... ... Oh well, it is the final final class that we are going to have this coming Friday, and I think I will miss school!!!

Sitting in the library now, trying to finish up my last last assignment of the course. Maybe just like what Jordan said, maybe I an trying to prolong this closure to the course, and that is why I have been staring at my laptop since yesterday, and couldn't really squeeze out anything... But, I am sure I will get it done tomorrow!! (its the deadline anyway).

I still can't believe that I have actually made this step, to venture out of Singapore alone. I remembered I once said that I would not have this sort of courage to get out of Singapore alone.. But here I am! (though HK is not that far away from SG, but it is still a feat ok??!!)
I have also never thought that I will pursue a Master degree, since my undergrad days were so deadful... But here I am!!

Now, I tell myself that I am not going to pursue PHD after this whole torturous year of presentations, assignments and papers after papers... But who knows?

Felt that I have been lazing around since morning although I have gone to buy my toothpaste, breakfast, edited and handed in 2 reports, N games of Solitaire, watched an anime, cooked dinner and currently looking at another Art assignment. Was feeling rather restless, and there isn't any good shows on TV, but at the same time I do not want to start any dramas on my Funshion.

Had an interesting and emotional self-reflection yesterday night, and somehow got some enlightenment from a lecturer's reply. I hope I will more in touch with my feelings as the course ends and when I am back to SG.. And you guys shall see a 感情丰富 de Cerene...

Shall end off with the fun I had during the past weeks or months...

Ferocious shark and timid carp 2nd time @ Ocean Park

A wonderful and successful jumpshot @ Sai Kung

Sumptuous dinner at Lok Fook @ Sai Kung with compliments from the Ho and Mak family!  =D

A sort of forum @ HKU talking about the next CE of HK... Did we ever have that in NUS? Or rather, will we?
Another experiential activity @ Art Therapy class.. I love it!

Cute monster spotted @ Marrina's house. Makes my day!

One step closer to my distinction..

We did it! After a long haul of 4 months... ... Our baby named "Child-Centered Group Therapy: Effects on Social Skills of Children with Visual Impairment" is finally born with painstaking efforts, nearly sleepless nights, N number of amending and editing... The best thing is that, our supervisor commented that it is the best report she has ever received!! This report can stand a chance to be published in journal ok! Dun play play ah... ....

So, I think I should be one step closer to my distinction, and hopefully, one step closer to my conference in LA!

Seriously Anal...

Dun get the title wrong, or in a wrong way.. .. I am referring to a more sophisticated term from the Freudian's psychoanalytic approach in a Singlish way..

I am seriously super anal! Editing the report for the N times...  =S

The Vulnerability of Life

Life is actually very vulnerable and most of us take it for granted.. We take for granted that we will wake up every morning and we will get back home safely. Do you know that in a day, there can be thousands of people in the world who do not wake up, or do not make it home?

So, Take care, be appreciative, be zen, be happy!!

One of the homework required us to watch a real-case video and then do up a case formulation and intervention. Received the real-life answer earlier on, and realised that I have actually got the whole hypothesis right about the case. But! I think I am too conservative in my writing that I didn't really indicate my own hypothesis, and sort of leave it open.. Even my intervention was sort of too "humanistic" and non-directive, and was not daring enough to give precise intervention with my hypothesis...

Haiz... ....

Lesson learnt: My assessment is ok de... just need to be more daring to take a stand!

Was reading Yu's blog and thought that I should update mine a little too. Actually, thought that I would update my blog more regularly since I am now in HK being a full-time student, and by that, it is implied that I would have more time to slack off and update blogs etc.

Anyway, it will be another 2+ months before I get my butt back to SG! Kinda having some sort of mixed feelings of it... On one hand really looking forward to go back, but on the other hand, felt a little dreadful because it means I have to resume work (although I must say that sometimes in HK, i missed a bit of my working life)!

This semester seems a little chaotic than the last semester. Assignments don't feel right, got a little disappointed with my quiz yesterday night... It is supposed to be more relaxing given the fact that I have 2 modules in the first half of this semester, and another 3 in the second half. Turned out that these modules apparently overlapped a little, and I have classes every evening! Ok.. there are 2 which I am sitting in, so 自食其果 is the word.  But depsite that, I think I have learnt much more this semester especially about mental health assessment, and the different kinds of creative therapy modalities. Really hope that I can get them used in my work back in SG...  (arghh..... work.... ).

Some photos before I end... (Oh, did i mention that we are planning to go korea in May! ~whees!)

Class on V-day..

Finally headed to Ocean Park. The 2nd scariest ride at the background!

My most satisfied artpiece in class
