sometimes, it is fun to do things spontaneously.. and the interesting thing is that you will probably get the things done, when compared to making plans and plans and plans... ...

Having spontaneous dinners seemed to be a trend nowadays..
Motto: Don't wait. Don't think. Just Go.

You might enjoy a treat (credit goes to wei wei).
You might get gossips (i know that's the all-time favourites)
You might get some sources of entertainment which probably could last you a few weeks

The most best thing is:
You get to see your friends, whom you have not met for months.

When one wave has yet to subside, another comes along....

Continuing from my IT-suayness period (Oh yes, it has yet to end..), I have finally set myself to call the Benq Support Hotline to get my monitor repaired.. and viola!! The IT man came this morning, and bring me a substitute for the moment...

As the title suggest, this is not the end...
OK. I supposed that my printer has problems long time ago, but it seemed to be a good time to really realise the problem such that it could fit into the IT suay period.. The printer's old catridge cannot be aligned, no matter how many times i pressed the "ok" button.. New cartridge cannot be recognised, scanning function cannot use.. duh.

Then, I confirmed that my camera is spoilt. The Panasonic man said that the LCD backlight was spoilt and it would cost like 240 bucks to repair it!! Goodness!!
So the man suggest that I buy a new one... But, its like having a white elephant at home... :(
The best thing is that this Panasonic building was so difficult to find (to me) that I took about 1hr to locate this stupid building, in exchange for a few mins of "i think it is better that you buy a new camera".. ok. at least the man is being honest.

The JCI week.

Its the finally-JCIA-week when auditors are here to make everyone jumpy.. Roll call every day to update about the auditors movements... their comment on the day's observation, their next "target" (and every supposed location or event is actually not true)... ...

This is also the time when suddenly everything seemed to be running smoothly, no single speck of dust, recordings done nicely (but of course, some handwritings are still as illegible as ever) and promptly (i am one of them.. )..

Good and bad though. Good if such practice is kept even after the auditing and bad, if vice versa...

Personally i am guilty of not maintaing high standard of practice after the audit... Dunno if there is lower caseload during the JCIA week, such that I could do every thing nicely and promptly or the Super-Efficient Ling just popped out of no where...

But nevermind.. the jumpy period is over.

Good news: WE HAVE PASSED!!
Better news: (If we were to refer to the previous audit which we have also passed) We are going to get a few hundreds in our salary in 2 months time!! and there's also a celebration!!

SO, it is "to court a woman", not the other way round.... ....
how many times have our focus swayed all because of the stupid redtapes, rules and system... ...
and when we realised that we have lose our focus, has it been too late???

Hope that I could make use of the lesson to maintain focus on my patients...

Juz watched The Leap Years this evening, and wanted to blog about asap before i forgot about everything...

A different background from the usual Jack Neo's production of ah bengish hokkien, singlish, heartlander story.. The Leap Years is a light and simple love story. With good cantonese and perfect english.

I quite like this movie.. nothing heavy.. little humour here and there.. no sob sob scene but heart warming times that made u smile... ...
though with a typical happily-ever-after ending, it is still one good local film!!

Ling's rating: 4 out of 5 (missed one point coz Ling was distracted by the 2 people at the back who were laughing, dunno for wat...)
