recently got no 'feel' to blog.. dunno y.. maybe becoz my life is too boring liao.. tt's y my blog title is "cerene's boring blog" mah..

suddenly remembered the conversation I had with pierre a few days ago.. i invited him to my blog and also 顺便 asked him to create a blog too.. well.. he also said that his life is too boring too.. ha.. [we got boring life..] den i suggested him to create a blog titled "a even boring blog" and den dun post any entries on it.. so as to show that his life is really very boring.. ha... dunno if he will be so bored to do such things or not.. ha..

oh ya, juz read thru my blog juz now.. foundout that i haf missed out my Day 3 in Genting.. How can i forget that?? it is the highlight!!!

Anyway, as for Day 3 in Genting, we caught a peeping tom!! excited huh? actually it was Lynn who discovered it first.. we were on our way back to s'pore and the bus stopped at a shop for us to buy more stuffs.. we were wanting to queue for toilets when she noticed a head popping out at the gap of the walls.. i think it was quite scary.. imagine u are using that toilet now and u got no idea that there is a head above, watching ur every move in the toilet.. eee..
Ya.. so we decided to inform our bus guide.. but who knows the peeping tom has already come out of the toilet when we went back together with the guide.. We missed HIm!!! Haiz..
But den, dunno when, the peeping tom came back again.. i think i remembered him going into the toilet but den, u noe, i got poor short term memory.. even my sensory memory is very poor also.. and now, it was daf who saw the peeping tom's head over the walls.. eh.. n it was Lynn who was in the cubicle beside, i think.. But i remembered when Lynn went into the toilet, it was a auntie who was beside her leh.. but it turned out to be the peeping tom.. So, daf got irritated by the peeping tom and immediately asked lynn to finish her business quickly n come out.. when lynn was out, she also caught the peeping tom over the walls.. wah.. den she got really agitated, and banged the cubicle's door where the peeping tom was.. really 女中豪杰.. she shouted at the peeping tom.. n she told me tt the peeping tom actually 吓到.. ha.. 活该..
As for me.. well.. u noe that i m a slacker, a coward.. (ha..) unlike daf and lynn who were outside the cubicle shouting for the peeping tom to come out.. so i do the "admin" part loh.. by going over to the boss and asked him to 主持大局.. by right if ur shop's toilet got a peeping tom, u should be angry and very 积极 to catch the peeping tom, but this boss hor, haiz.. nothing to say.. he acted quite calmly.. juz saying to me that "hm.. 这个人一定是个变态.." tt's it.. maybe such things happened quite a few times 吧..

SO, the boss managed to get the peeping tom out of the cubicle.. guess wat? this peeing tom like 若无其事 and juz walk out of the cubicle.. juz like that.. and the show ended.. nobody stopped him and called the police.. nobody beat him up.. juz like that, the whole thing ended..

after that, we found out that the peeping tom is actually a mini-bus driver.. wah.. heng it is not my bus driver.. can't imagine what he would do to us.. although other bus guides gave us the peeping tom's company phone number, no one actually helped us dialled.. (hallo?? we are not locals leh.. n u expect us to call a long distant call to report?? hallo? u guys shld help us dialled that number and pass the phone to us mah.. haiz..)
Ya.. that's the whole story.. daf n lynn feel so regretful for not beating up the peeping tom.. ha..

went to sentosa this morning.. early in the morning.. yesterday my mum said that it will rain today, but ~heng, it didn't..

anyway, did something bad at Siloso Beach.. I actually made some people puke and lose interest in gals.. and maybe scare some people out of Sentosa.. all because of my jingling fats around my body.. ha... went sun-tanning at the beach with tube and shorts.. 突破 leh.. didn expect myself to do that.. but for sun-tannnig sake, i juz 脱my t-shirt and lay dead on the shore.. ha.. wondering wat will other non-fatty beach babes and hunks think, to see a dead pig on the shore n 破坏他们的风气...  ha.. to think that Kaili even suggested buying a bikini and wear tt to Sentosa nx time.. -__-" her figure can lah.. but for me ah, if i wear bikini, i surely will be on Sentosa management's blacklist.. 永远不能踏入Sentosa..

oh ya, guess how much I spent on Sentosa?
Clue 1: the amount include admission fee, lunch and dinner
Clue 2: we had 2 pizzas for lunch
Clue 3: we went to FOC places only

Any answer?? Well.. Give up lah.. dun think anyone will guess it right.. ok...
WE. SPENT. $11.60!!
cheap huh?.. really! we spent only that amt! wat's more, we ate a large and a medium pizza, with drinks... ah... so unbelievable.. thanks to Kaili..交流广阔。。

This is wat i muz achieve nx sem..
"In order to achieve a CAP of [3.50] from your current CAP of [2.50], you must score an average of [A/A+], equivalent to an average grade point of [4.83].

This simulation is based on the numbers of modular credits [24] you are reading in the semester."

wah... how bout a CAP of 3.25 den?
"In order to achieve a CAP of [3.25] from your current CAP of [2.50], you must score an average of [A-], equivalent to an average grade point of [4.25].

This simulation is based on the numbers of modular credits [24] you are reading in the semester."

Somethinh interesting and helpful to share..

What's the deal with my blood type?

Each of us carries in our blood the living memory of human history. Blood Type O is the oldest, thrive best in hunting environment (meat eaters); migration of blood type O from Africa to northern and eastern Europe due to competition for survival and meat forced them to adapt to new agricultural environment (Neolithic period) and Blood Type A was born. Blood Type B originated somewhere northern India, Mongolia and eastern China and part of Russia which thrive best on dairy products. Intermingling of blood A and B during modern civilization created new blood type called AB. Our ancestors left each of us a special legacy, imprinted in our blood types. This legacy exists permanently in the nucleus of each cell. It is here that the anthropology and science of our blood meet.

It has been found that blood type was the way to explain the many paradoxes in dietary studies and disease survival. Why are some people able to lose weight on a particular diet, while others were not? Why did some people retain vitality late in life, while others deteriorated mentally and physically? Although as a species humans are mostly alike, we deemed to be most distinguished by our differences. The book Eat Right 4 Your Type published in 1996 by Doc Peter D’Adamo was the first diet to explore this biological individuality. Tens of thousands of testimonials, medically certified results, and new genetic research have demonstrated that the Blood Type Diet has become a powerful mainstream tool for living more healthfully.

Your blood type has everything to do with how you digest food, your ability to respond to stress, your mental state, the efficiency of your metabolism, and the strength of your immune system.

Blood type can determine so many things: how much and how often we should eat; what our optimal daily schedule should be; what our best sleep/ rest patterns are; how stress affects us and how to combat it; how to maximize our health; how to overcome disease; how we deal with aging; and even our degree of emotional well-being.

If you try to lose weight by restricting calories, you’ll lose muscle tissue, even if you also exercise regularly. While exercise can offset some of the loss in muscle tissue, low-calorie dieting for more than ten to fourteen days in a row is detrimental to your overall body composition. This is the prime reason why eating and exercising by blood type is the most rational method of balanced weight loss. If you eat correctly for your type, you gain active tissue mass, which increases your basal metabolic rate, which then allows the excess fat to be burned off, without loss of muscle tissue.

Your Personality - Type A

INTROVERTED
- Intense
- Inventive
- Demanding
- Perfectionist
- Sensitive
- Cooperative
- Creative

Your Diet - Type A

Type A flourish on vegetarian diets – the inheritance of their more settled and less warlike farmer ancestors. It is particularly important for sensitive Type As to get their foods in as natural a state as possible: fresh, pure and organic.

Foods that encourage weight gain:

Meat -- poorly digested, stored as fat, increases digestive toxins
Dairy Foods -- inhibit nutrient metabolism, increases mucous secretions
Kidney Beans -- interfere with digestive enzymes, slow metabolic rate
Lima Beans -- interfere with digestive enzymes, slow metabolic rate
Wheat -- (in overabundance) impairs calorie utilization

Foods that encourage weight loss:

Vegetable oils -- aid efficient digestion, prevent fluid retention
Soy foods -- efficient digestion, metabolize quickly, optimize immune function
Vegetables -- aid efficient metabolism, increase intestinal mobility
Pineapple -- increases calorie utilization, increases intestinal mobility

Your Personality - Type B

INDEPENDENT
- Free Thinking
- Resilient
- Creative
- Original
- Subjective
- Inveterate
- Organizer

Your Diet - Type B

Type B can best be described as idiosyncratic – with utterly unique and sometimes chameleonlike characteristics. On the whole, the sturdy and alert Type Bs are usually able to resist many of the most severe diseases common to modern life. Yet because Type Bs are somewhat offbeat, their systems seem more prone to exotic immune-system disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Foods that encourage weight gain:

Corn -- inhibits insulin efficiency, hampers metabolic rate,
causes hypoglycemia
Lentils -- inhibit proper nutrient uptake, hamper metabolic efficiency, cause hypoglycemia
Peanuts -- hamper metabolic efficiency, cause hypoglycemia,
inhibit liver function
Sesame seeds -- hamper metabolic efficiency, cause hypoglycemia
Buckwheat -- inhibits digestion, hampers metabolic efficiency, causes hypoglycemia
Wheat -- slows the digestive and metabolic processes, causes food to be stores as fat, not burned as energy, inhibits insulin efficiency

Foods that encourage weight loss:

Green vegetables -- aid efficient metabolism
Meat aid -- efficient metabolism
Liver -- aid efficient metabolism
Eggs/ Low-Fat Dairy products -- aid efficient metabolism
Licorice Tea -- counters hypoglycemia (never take licorice supplements without a doctor’s supervision. Licorice tea is okay.)

Your Personality - Type AB

INTUITIVE
- Emotional
- Passionate
- Friendly
- Trusting
- Empathetic

Your Diet - Type AB

Blood Type AB is less than a thousands years old, rare (2 – 5% of the population), and biologically complex. Type AB Diet requires that you read your foods lists very carefully, and familiarize yourself with both the Type A and Type B diets to better understand the parameters of your own diet.

Foods that encourage weight gain:

Red Meat -- poorly digested, stored as fat, toxifies intestinal tract
Seeds -- cause hypoglycemia
Kidney Beans -- inhibit insulin efficiency, cause hypoglycemia, slow metabolic rate
Lima Beans -- inhibit insulin efficiency, cause hypoglycemia, slow metabolic rate
Wheat -- decreases metabolism, inefficient use of calories,
inhibits insulin efficiency
Buckwheat -- causes hypoglycemia
Corn -- inhibits insulin efficiency

Foods that encourage weight loss:

Tofu
Seafood, Kelp
Dairy
Pineapple
Vegetables

Your Personality - Type O

EXTROVERTED
- Strong
- Leader
- Confident
- Pragmatic
- Strategic
- Patient
- Logical

Your Diet - Type O

Type Os thrive on intense physical exercise and animal protein. The success of the Type O Diet depends on your use of lean, chemical-free meats, poultry, and fish. Type Os don’t find dairy products and grains as user friendly as do most of the other blood types because their digestive systems still have not adapted to them fully.

Foods that encourage weight gain:

Wheat Gluten -- interferes with insulin efficiency slows metabolic rate
Corn -- interferes with insulin efficiency slows metabolic rate
Kidney Beans -- impair calorie utilization
Navy Beans -- impair calorie utilization
Lentils -- inhibit proper nutrient metabolism
Cabbage -- inhibits thyroid hormone
Brussels Sprouts -- inhibits thyroid hormone
Cauliflower -- inhibits thyroid hormone
Mustard Greens -- inhibit thyroid production

Foods that encourage weight loss:

Kelp -- contains iodine, increases thyroid hormone production
Seafood -- contains iodine (Increases thyroid hormone production)
Iodized Salt -- increases thyroid hormone production, contains iodine. (It is preferable that you obtain your iodine from sources such as seafood and kelp, as sodium can contribute to high blood pressure and water retention)

Liver -- B-vitamin source, aids efficient metabolism
Red Meat -- aids efficient metabolism
Kale, Spinach, Broccoli -- aid efficient metabolism

Genting Day 2..

Day 2 is a Theme Park cum shopping day. There are a lot of rides in the theme park but i think that a few of them are about the same, juz that the routes and the names of the rides are different only.. Anyway, the theme park is very big.. got escalators somemore..
Finally, i tried rollercoaster!! Finally!! all along i m too 胆小to try it.. 没想到.. 我的第一次 on rollercoaster is at Genting! ha.. the cranky rollercoaster is called "corkscrew" coz there is a part where the rollercoaster will have a "corkscrew" turn and riders will be turned 360degree.. Scary it may appear, the ride is actually quite mild.. *disappointment*

Something about the Genting Trip..

The first day aka the 衰day..
it was a good beginning, coz the three of us took the same train and therefore no need to wait for one another.. according to daf's dad, Golden Mile is juz opposite the mrt station.. but den, when we checked the directory, it is way beyond that!! i think it is actually a few blocks away!!

Our coach was quite alright.. quite spacious, better than what i have expected.. i think we set off at around 8am, starting our 衰day..

it started with the s'pore immigration side.. I was warned to update my passport photo.. Ok.. I too fat n old to fit into my pri.5 looks.. Will change the whole passport ASAP ok?!
Surprisingly at the M'sia immigration, the lady officer didn give me the warning.. ~heng.. can pass thru..
But den, one of fellow china coach mate kena trapped .. guess wat? she didn noe that her visa has expired.. so the M'sia officer refused to let her pass.. in the end, i think we waited for bout 1/2 hr for her to settle her stuffs.. Luckily she still managed to pass.. Well.. whose fault is it anyway? the fellow coach mate's or the agency's?? Dunno leh.. feel that the agency shld have checked her visa first since they shld know the procrdures for such stuffs..

Anyway, the journey was quite smooth.. We eat, sleep and watch movie on the bus.. talking bout the movie, the driver played "Peter Pan" and "Wrong Turn".. u guys shld noe wat "Peter Pan" is about.. but for "Wrong Turn", it is a cheap movie lah.. it is based on a forest setting.. so throughout the whole movie, the casts juz run around the forest loh.. Basically, it is a thriller about some mutated people (dun ask me how or why..) who live in the forest..they grusomely kill 'normal' human and keep their teeth (the full whole set of teeth).. dunno why also.. most probably because their teeth gene is mutated bah.. so they want to collect nice nice teeth to 补偿 their ugly teeth bah..
The movie is juz for suspense lah.. no plot.. only suspense and gruesome scenes..

While we thought we are going to reach Genting, our bus broke down.. from i saw, it is because the engine is too heated up.. Suay rite? We were stranded on the road.. Luckily the cool air is blowing, so it is not as hot as being stranded in the middle of ECP.. How long are we being stranded?? 1hr+ i think.. in the end, the bus is still not alright to send us up to Genting, we gotta take skyway up there ourselves..

SO, a journey to Genting that usually takes about 6-7hrs, we took 8hrs!!! cool huh?!

July 7, 2004

haven blogging for quite some time liao.. it seems to be quite a long time to me.. but in actual fact, it has only been 12days.. 12days only..

i have been quite busy during the 12 days..
- busy with kaili's production.. (though i may not be the busiest one..)
- busy with my tution kids..
- went to a camp.. (it is quite a boring camp lah.. or maybe i m too anti-social liao?)
- went to Genting..

blame it on my PC.. couldn't get it reformat.. heard from my sis that our systen recovery cd is faulty.. haiz.. everything is so slow.. microsoft IE gets hanged easily.. sometimes couldn't open desktop also.. ARGH..
