an interesting thing happened in my family..

some of you guys would know that my mum has rented some rooms out.. so one of our tenants is a mother-daughter.. my mum also helps to babysit this daugther..

this daughter ah, can be considered as a very bright kid. her chinese and maths are both very good.. a clever girl..

when i came home from school juz now, my mum showed me something..
she brought me to the window where so hang out her clothes and pointed to the extended piece of parapet wall beneath..

guess wat i saw? a whole mess of noodles and green vegetables.. seems that someone upstairs has thrown his/her noodles down.. BUT!! my mum guessed that the mess was made by the girl.. coz for the past 2 days, different food has landed on the parapet wall.. and these food coincides with those she cooked.. ha.. .. so funny..

so apparently, this girl has thrown the food that she dislikes over the window, hoping that no one will notice.. clever ah.. the girl also very good in acting.. when my mum sensed that something was wrong, she deliberately ask the girl if the food is nice.. the girl replied "yes!! very nice!!"

me and my mum actually want to catch the girl red-handed.. but i always come home after her dinner time, so no chance..


Conclusion:
kids are cleverer than you thought them to be..
but adults are even more clever.. :)

true enough, no time=blog time..


anyway, i was looking thru my sis's photos and suddenly have this unbelievable feeling of "wow... is that really my sister? do i really have a sister?? how come my sister look different from me?? "

ha.. so unbelievable..

once again, in the midst of rushing for my project, i lost concentration and decided to blog again..

a lot of free time = no blog
no time = blog

ha.. .. i am such a weird person.. anyway, these few days i have been thinking of a certain topic "birthday"..

yesterday, i have blogged about what place i hope to celebrate my 21st birthday..
today, i have been recalling wat presents have t.l.t and other frens have given me.. ha..

my first present from t.l.t : actually, the first time i received from them are seperated presents..
chris gave me a miniature treasure box-like thingy which holds a notepad..
jin gave me a photo frame i think.. a flintstone photo frame..
lynn and daf (dunno if sing sing and yu were involved or not) gave me 2 stacks of phonecards.. someone obviously gave them the wrong info that i collect phonecards.. in actual fact, i DUN.. but dun worry guys, the phonecards are still in good condition..

hm... suddenly thought of the dolphin shaped glass that sing sing had given me.. when was it ah? forgot liao..

anyway, subsequently presents were combined as one present.. i really forgot what present came after the 1st ones..
but there was one year when we found buying present was such a chore that we decided not to buy anymore present but give cards instead.. so, in that year, i received a very cute card.. the card doesn't look like a conventional card.. it was a hollow cuboid (i.e. with no cover and bottom.. )with a pig sticking out in the middle..

den, there was another year where i held a xmas exchange party in my house.. besides tlt, yangqin members were there too..
(i forgot wat tlt gave.. but maybe is tt pig card)
but i remembered the yq members gave me a Doremon lamp.. very cute.. still unused today..

hm... i think i need to use count-down method..
last year (2004) i got.. eh.. wat ah? forgot liao.. die.. and that's only 3months ago!!!
but i remembered giving sing sing, yu and joyce a treat.. hehe.. who ask the others not to come? too bad loh..

2003: the orange adidas bag rite? we celebrated at the airport.. together for xmas also..

2002: the charles and keith sandals +nail polish.. .. at the airport also..

2001: a bilibong pencil case.. with a fish bowl and a shit toilet roll cover.. i m still using it now.. a super durable one.. actually matches my wallet and bag.. all are orange and grey..

2000: ??

1999: ??

1998: ??

1997: the separate presents.. i think they gave it during a CO practice at tampines east cc..


can someone please help me to fill in or correct me if i am wrong???

after jin and susu's birthday party, i have started to think of where i can hold my party.. if i can get the ST holiday chalet, that will be best.. if not, where shall it be?
well.. sentosa would be a nice place if it is very accessible.. or if i have lots and lots of money, i can book a hotel room for friends to stay.. hehe..

if not sentosa.. .. hm.. .. i can't think of any idea liao leh..

semi-slacking away.. finding pictures of hamster so that i can do wat my mum calls the "无聊stuffs"..

no choice.. i am a very 无聊的人.. therefore like to do 无聊stuffs.. hope the person will like wat i have done.. hehe.. i have stolen the idea from somewhere.. dunno whether it will turn out to be nice or not..

anyway, this month is a very busy month..
4 mid term tests,
1 individual term paper,
2 group term papers

and now i still dare to blog.. hehe.. i also dunno..
one symptom of depression: losing of concentration
another symptom: tired

now i am one step closer to depression..

oh no.. ..

went to Sentosa this afternoon.. juz to pei susu to pay his deposit for the sunset bay.. i think the place is not bad.. a good one for frens to chill put at night.. but too bad it is at Sentosa.. juz the thought of going home from there is digusting.. ha... if not, you can choose to be stranded on the island too..

so now susu got this nice place for his birthday party, and jin got the bungalow, i am starting to think about the various places i can have to hold my 21st birthday, in case i couldn't get the bungalow..

maybe Underwater World? Butterfly Park? (i think jin will hate this)
or... probably the void deck downstairs.. ..

anyway, the feeling of going to Sentosa is very nice.. i have decided to go early on susu party day to play or sun-tan.. Who's coming with me??
even if no play or sun-tan, i still need to go early.. coz i haf agreed to help susu in decoratinf the place..
hm.. wat a good fren am I...


after the Sentosa trip, we proceed to suntec for a 不三不四的dinner at suntec.. weiwei and his Evelyn joined us also.. imagine when we finished our dinner, it was only 6+..
so, we decided to catch a movie.. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events..
hm.. i think the title of the movie is sort of a 预兆.. coz we couldn't get the 7.30pm slot so we bought the 9.30pm slot instead..
6.30 to 9.30 =3 hrs.. so we all got 3hrs of free time.. we walked here walked there also dunno do wat.. in the end, we went to Pacific Coffee to sit down loh..
and it was here when susu discovered that THE MOVIE TICKETS WERE LOST!!!

at first i thought it was weiwei who is playing a prank on susu.. coz i remembered seeing susu passing the tix to weiwei leh.. and both weiwei and Evelyn seemed so nonchalent about the lost tix.. so i really thought the tix were with them..
susu was really stressed out when he found that he had lost the tix.. really really stressed out.. so stressed out that he needed to buy a drink.. ha..

luckily we got the "mai tu liao" (meaning: dun waste time liao in hokkien)Evelyn with us.. she suggested we go back to Eng Wah and tell them that we lost the tix and see what they can do.. although i feel that there is 99.99999% chances that the staffs there will not believe us, the remaining 0.0001% still stands for a slight success..

So, with "mai tu liao" Evelyn 带头, we headed back to Eng Wah to try our luck..
带头的不愧是带头的,果然不是浪的虚名.. according to her, the mananger there agreed to let us in because of her beauty.. ok,大姐.. 你最美!! ha..
BUt probably also we are very 诚恳.. we are able to tell him the time and agak agak the seat number.. besides, the slot for 9.30pm is full liao.. 四个人要骗四个位也不容易..

这就算susu lucky.. no need to refund us the money.. but anyway, i only paid 5bucks.. ha.. coz i didn't 按 enough money.. ha.. so now is me who owe him money..

conclusion: keep movie tix yourself.. dun pass it to anyone..

As for the movie, i think it is quite nice.. Though the storyline was very simple, there was a lot of humour injected to in.. With Jim Carrey in the movie, you will be expected to have a few good laughs before you leave he theatre..
i quite like the 画面 in the movie, well-designed i think..
the Sunny baby was the highlight.. she is sooooo cutee!!! the typical baby you see in the baby posters.. with chubby chubby ckeeks, big round eyes and blond hair..

conclusion: 8/10 for the movie..
