Was watching 稀游记2 hosted by Belinda and I think this documentary is really good.. For those who doesn't watch TV, basically this documentary showcases the Singaporeans who are in other countries, pursuing their dreams there...

Dreams could be as simple as serving the family, as passionate as achieving to be a pianst, or as wonderful as building orphanages...

After watching today's episode, which is about 2 Singaporeans who went to Cambodia to set up an Orphange, I was so inspired to go for such trips to the villages.. The rationale behind these 2 people to go to Cambodia is so simple and warm... ...

Now I have another dream to fulfil..
To go for a volunteer trip...

(My first dream was fulfilled... to watch a concert..)

Yesterday had dinner with Sing Sing at Bali Thai... Food was quite good.. The Kang Kong Belachan is simply very 开胃..

Then Sing Sing suddenly said "Wah.. you all 01S17 also have a FaceBook group.."

Yup.. We had a 01S17 FaceBook group recently..


But the main thing is this question she asked "so what is Kaili doing now?"
And my reply "in a Production house, a producer"



Isn't that great... Being able to do something of your interest.. something that one has always pursue... ... And the best is that the interest = your job... =D

Kung Fu Panda - A Review..

Usually Ling doesn't really watch animation in theatres and she thinks that it is a waste of money.. However, stangely, when asked to watch a movie, she immediately thought of this one...

And Ling did not regret the choice as it was really damn funny!!! She was laughing throughout the whole movie!!!
On the whole, I think this animation was very well-done... The graphics was good.. Some were very real... THe fighting scenes were as enjoyable as those by Jet Li or Jackie Chan...
This is one of the best animation that Ling has ever seen!!

ANd Ling likes this scene best!!!

But of course.. there were some mysteries in his film..
- I wonder how Po (which is the panda) is the son of the goose.. Could his mum be a panda too?
- I wonder why the Valley of Peace (where the film takes place) only has residents which are geese, pigs and rabbits... Even the Jade Palace has more variety of animals then the whole village..

Not to forget, every film there's a message.. Thanks to Muz for the hint..

Rating: 6/5 (extra point for the seats at Cathay @ Downtown East.. More den enuff leg space fo the long legs of mine....)

A day out with 01S17

A day out with 01S17.. Should be a class gathering but well... only 8 of us turned up.. haha... not too good, but not too bad also...

Had lunch at Settlers @ Clarke Quay.. Got some updates of 7 lives.. And you can see that everyone is really enjoying the day!!

We started off with the game Taboo..

简单真好...

Finally finished watching 恶作剧2吻.. A little draggy though.. and the usual clumsiness, passion and ignorance of 湘琴 sometimes really pissed me off.. it's getting too much in the show.. But anyway, in this show, 直树 made a comment about 湘琴 saying that "简单真好".. which i really agree..



I am simple person.. And i like things to be simple too..
I haf told somebody before that simple relationship will be enough for me.. no need to be 轰轰烈烈..

things like....
- he gives you a ride to office on his bicycle..
- he makes you some sandwiches.. No need big fish big meat lah...
- wake up early to have breakfast with you

blah blah blah...

总之，简单真好...

it was highly recommended by Chui Fang to watch this Korean movie <<深情似海>>...


She likes this movie so much that she doesn't want to watch Kung Fu Panda with us, by giving the excuse that she has to work tomorrow and doesn't want to reach home late.. And yet, she wants to watch this movie which ends at about 1.30am..

This movie was screened on TV for the 2nd time.. Never really sit down to watch it the 1st time, until yesterday night... A very simple and light movie, which I like.. If you all like this movie, Ling is recommending another Korean movie "Daisy".. Ling likes this movie a lot..

Sometimes, in the shows, love comes along so 巧妙-ly.. which makes me wonder if it could only happened in shows and not reality...
Many people have asked, "How come you are not attached yet? Your expectations too high izzit??"
Those who know me will know... Dun think i have any expectations bah.. okok.. the guy have to be taller than me, has to have the basic gentleman-ness (who wants a MCP anyway) and the 上进心..
That's not high expectation right?? No lah hor... ...

It has been almost a month and this blog did really live up to it's name for being the 无聊日记...

for this month, Ling has spontaneously gone to Shanghai/Jiangnan tour with her relatives for 8days.. She briefly toured HangZhou, SuZhou, Wu Xi, Nan Jing and Shanghai.. Photos will be up sonner or later, when Slacker queen finds the time and motivation to review and upload on the computer... For now, slacker queen doesn't have the motivation yet.. .. So please be patient... ...

Returned to work after the China trip and there's lotsa MAJOR decisions to make!!

1. To CHoose whether I want to work one Saturday every 5 weeks, or to remain as usual which is once every 4 weeks.
2. To choose whether I want to remain with the same portfolio or to change it..

Ling has always wanted to do something more exciting and to learn more things.. So she has always want to try Trauma cases (i.e. cases that are usually admitted to hospital's SICU after road accident, assault etc..).
After much thought and discussions, Ling is able to half-continue to be in her beloved ward and also do trauma cases as well!!! Goodie!!

Ling also just had her appraisal done. Not bad.. She flipped back her last apprasial and there's some improvements in performance!! Oh oh, she has also proposed her Search Team idea to her boss!! So this shall be Ling's pioneer project for this year!
Ling now feels that she has more responsibilities and also more things to learn now... More direction in life...
Though she has to readapt to the trauma team.. But she still get to work with her favourite ward...
