time really passed very fast leh.. it seems like jin's has juz sent her invitation yesterday.. and yesterday is her chalet liao.. sooo fast!!

yup.. so as agreed, me, lynn and chris went to the chalet early to help her out.. we were earlier den her mum！yeah! ha..
so long didn go to the chalet liao.. really bring back a lot of memories..

anyway, ya.. it was not long before xiaoying and keith arrived.. hm.. in general, we prepared the bbq food while keith's main job is balloon sculpting.. he got no choice lah.. he is the only guy there.. of course he must be the bravest one to twist and turn the balloons loh.. .. i have a sort of phobia for balloons leh.. ..

after the food is done, there is nothing to do except to slack.. my favourite past time.. but jin still need to dye xiao ying's hair.. weird people.. specially come to chalet to dye hair.. what is this world coming to??!!

so we juz sit there and chit chat.. until the skies turned dark.. we den hide inside the house.. luckily jin got bring her dvd cum karaoke player to entertain us.. so basically we juz slacked untill the important people (eg. jin's mum, xuelun who knows how to start fire, ruiyi who is the servant, etc) and the guest arrived..
in the first round, we (as in tlt) were being served.. so we juz sat there and eat lo.. ha..
when it was our shift to bbq, i must admit that our skills are not as good as the previous shift.. the food was either burnt or not cooked.. xuelun is the bbq guru!! she is very steady leh.. ruiyi also not bad lah.. but she cannot burning stuffs! coz there was a time when (people say that singapore won't make it, but we did.. ha.. )an aluminium foil caught fire.. and that ruiyi juz 不管三七二十一地把aluminium foil 夹起来, without seeing that xuelun is juz beside her and the burning aluminium foil nearly swept across her face!! 真是一个没有安全意识的人..

nothing much to say about the bbq.. probably a "sorry" to those people who kena diarhoea after eating our food.. I　will polish up by bbq skills!! i promised!!

up next.. the cake cutting session.. dunno why, the cake was placed on the dirtiest table of all.. (which is the "friends" table)
anyway, i can picture myself sitting on the bench with continuous camera flashes, taking pictures with groups after groups after groups after groups and after groups of people.. must be very tired.. 蛋糕就在眼前but cannot even cut it let alone eat it.. muz be a kind of agony..

finally... the highlight of the party.. THE　KGE COMPETITION!!!
I was partnering with lynn den i decided to v.s. jin on 我们的爱 by F.I.R.. which leaves me the last choice of having a random partner..
BUT!! in the end.. dunno why also.. i entered the competition with 5enteries!!
1. with lynn --> supposed to sing 搁浅but later changed to 花都开好了
2. with sing sing --> we sang Lydia
3. with xiaoying --> 我们的爱.. but i think she got more chemistry with jin.. me and xiaoying =0% chemistry
4. with ruiyi --> superstar..but the judges say we chose the wrong song coz we are not 'high' enough.. it is not our fault!! the karaoke system is too soft liao!! soft songs cannot bring up the "highness" (a typical example showing external locus of control)
5. with audrey --> 纯真.. not much chemistry also.. but surprisingly we are not the group with the lowest 默契points..

i very 忙rite? i realised that there are 17 entries for the competition and my involvment is already 1/3!!

the song i got first is also 你最珍贵.. cannot find in the list above rite? coz it is a last minute decision lah.. i partnered with jin's elder brother.. hehe.. my dream finally came true.. ha..
aiyah..coz my surrounding guy frens dun usually sing or probably dun sing well.. so it is very difficult to find a guy who sings well.. after i jin told me that her bro sings quite well, i haf always been hoping to 切磋切磋..
the audience said we performed the song very well.. personally, i am not too sure.. i only know that jin's brother sang quite well.. as for myself, i couldn't really hear my voice.. probably the mike is too soft or the house is too big..
and that cindy didn video our performance down!!! 气死我了!! so now i forever also dunno how i performed.. so sad.. ..

after the competition, everyone was very tired liao bah..
without realising it, i think it was about 2am.. surprisingly, no police came to knock on the door.. imagine, having people singing ktv till 2am..
oh ya, i won a David Tao cd.. thanks jin!

as usual, chit chat and UNO game is our entertainment for the night.. we were playing UNO until we decided to join the Lord Of The Rings (ivan, sweeshoon, xuelun, jin, xiaoying and ruiyi)for chit chatting.. probably everyone was very tired liao.. so there wasn't any 激烈的chit chat..

after that, 回家的回家,睡觉的睡觉, only left us (in case u all dunno who.. me, chris, lynn and sing), jin, sweeshoon and jin's younger bro playing mahjong.. actually is us playing but they teaching us.. ya..

and the most 自豪thingyis that we didn sleep for the whole night!! we juz sat there playing mahjong with the one and only winning method, which is to get 3sets and a pair of 眼睛..
amazing ah..

i think i have probably been conditioned.. i can stay up longer in the night as time passes..

memorable day sia.. .. today is my bahasa indonesian project presentation day..

guess wat? i wore a traditional Minnangkabau costume leh.. those for weddings.. ha.. with a head gear somemore.. 痛死我了.. the head gear is juz like 孙悟空's.. juz that mine no need the 紧箍咒 already very tight liao..

19/2: the official start of my semester break.. my semester ends on thurs so fri need to go to sch liao.. worst of all, this arrangement has turned everyone's timetable into a mess!!

20/2: went to MacRitchie to study the place for my SS project.. tried the HSBC TreeTop walk which is about 10.3km.. tell u all ah, it is really very tiring!! the whole trail up to the TreeTop Walk is quite tedious but the TreeTop bridge is nice.. too bad only 150m(dunno correct or not, but it is short).. den u will need to walk the whole way down again to the exit.. Me and my project mates all cannot tahan the thought of walking down to the exit, so we took a cab at the country club to the MacRitchie Park.. ha.. we seemed so 娇生惯养 rite? but no loh.. we are juz phyiscally weak.. when i stepped into the cab ah, i immediately headache liao.. all the way till i stepped into my bed..
but it is really an experience..

22/2: sing sing birthday.. but we didn go singing that day.. (好冷啊..) as usual, the bithday need to treat us.. but this time, not Swenson, we went to NYDC..once again, the baked rice was very nice AT FIRST but as time went by.. .. .. .. not so nice liao..
conclusion: baked pasta better..
ya.. we bought a Levi's jeans for sing sing.. she spent the whole evening choosing her bday present.. nx time dun torture me with this ok?? i dun want to choose my present.. please.. .. .. ..
not to forget, we sang a very nice bday song for sing sing.. really very nice.. acapella somemore.. got standard one leh.. i will try to upload the video and let u guys see.. 简直是天籁之声..

正月初八is the 拜天公day rite？？
think so.. coz yesterday night i went to my grandma house to 拜天公..
as i become older, i find these 拜拜 stuffs very interesting..

yesterday night is probably my first time to 拜天公 and i think it was very grand..




原来拜天公need so many many stuffs..

yup.. besides doing the usual using 香to 拜拜, we still need to 敬酒..
the most 壮观is the part when we 送 the god up to heaven.. this is when we burnt all the 冥纸元宝..


you will need to surround the house with lots and lots of the 冥纸元宝 so that everything will be burnt smoothly..
the two sticks at the side of the house are bamboo sticks.. the unprocessed bamboo sticks (that's why u can see the shoots)..
anyway, my uncle told me that bamboo shoots are needed coz when the god is being 追杀by the bad guys, it is the 竹林 that saved him..

after everything is ready, it is time to send the god off.. i.e burn the 冥纸and the house..


oo... very 壮观leh.. starting still got the "piak piak" sound which comes from the burning of the bamboo shoots.. den the whole thing juz burnt so fiercely..
there are also small little "typhoon" of ashes..
according to the chinese mythology explanation, it is the 天兵天将that have come to fetch the god..
but according to science, it is coz cold air rushes in when the hot air rises.. causing the little "typhoon"..

at that time, the chinese explanation seems to make sense.. ha..

did another new thing today.. i went to weizhi house to 拜年 with susu, weiwei and khenghow.. so weird rite?? we are not really that 熟 loh.. i think we only know each other presence and tt's it.. and i went to his house.. hm.. really weird hor? and his mum tot that i m khenghow gf juz before i stepped inside his house juz before khenghow.. ha.. ..

but i m honoured leh.. he say i m the first girl in his 21years to go his house.. ha.. even susu they all also never been to his house before.. so i m super honoured.. hehe..

so we went to weizhi house, den wei wei house and den susu house.. maybe my memory is failing me, wei wei and susu house doesn't look any familiar, although i have been to wei wei and susu house years before.. really.. the house layout is very very different from wat i remember..

now den i know the 4guys are all 赌鬼.. from one house 赌到another house.. too bad weizhi has a test on the next day, if not ah, i think they will gamble until the nx day..

oh ya oh ya.. susu's mum said tt i m a veri polite and veri family person.. hehe.. .. maybe becoz i told her i need to go to my grandma house from susu house.. ha.. so good comments.. before i forget, thanks to susu's mum for 陪ing me walk to the busstop ah.. thanks auntie!!!

yesterday went to kge with a totally new batch of people.. susu, wei wei and his girlfriend whose name is evelyn?? eh.. sorry.. forget liao..

although i have know susu and wei wei for 8years, i haven hear them sing before leh..

so i opened my own S.H.E concert.. 点了about 10++ S.H.E songs.. 害我so paiseh.. sing halfway den eject.. scared tt i bored them to death.. skaly among the 3 of them got a anti-S.H.E person.. .. den i die.. .. ..
dunno why ah, that Evelyn kept asking me if i am ok.. she so funny leh..
i also not very high leh.. she haven really seen my 真面目.. 呵呵..

but!!! it is really quite ex to sing on wkend nite..
we sang from 7pm-11pm and guess how much? around 18bucks per person.. and cannot use discount voucher.. 气死人了。。
