so in the end we went for a movie.


yup. X-men 3. X-men is one of my favourite cartoons as well as movies.
i like the visual effect of this movie, but the plot got not much development and 1 1/2 hours seems too short for this movie.
this really shld be the last X-men movie le, since some of the 老将 died.

but well, who knows, maybe they can haf X-Men 4: The New X-Men.

Now I am blogging at the Budget Terminal!! Flying off to Bangkok in about half an hour time!!!

I am too lazy to upload all the photos for my China trip here, so i decided just to upload the food i ate in China..


this is the asam fish and rice.. Silkair de food is really very nice leh..



my first breakfast in China.. of course there are other food such as porridge, fried kway teow and kueh.. but my favourite is 豆浆油条!!



for every meal (except breakfast), they will serve 2 bottles of beer and 1 bottle of soft drink. Their soft drink is much more ex den their beer!!



these small fishes are called 瀑布鱼.. as the name suggests, these fishes are found in areas of waterfalls..



these green green thing may look a bit disgusting but they tasted quite nice leh.. they are 野菜 with some 鱼肉的 filling.. mm... sedap!!



yes... as you can see... the word is 狗... but the thing behind the wordings is not 狗 loh.. that one is 鸭..


this then is 狗.. Woo....



this is called 油茶.. a type of 茶 that that the 壮族 people used to welcome their guests.. they first fried the 米 den add tea, spring onion and a piece of 猪油..
not bad tasting also...
you drink this tea with a chopstick (to stir the rice). when the host offer you the tea, you should juz pick up one chopstick. If you pick up a pair of chopstick, this means that you are interested in their unmarried daughter, and is willing to stay in the village and marry her.



ok.. no more food photos le.. keke.. the others are juz the same food or too tasty that i m busy eating and got no time to take photo..

Hello Everybody, Chef Ling is BACK AGAIN!! Hope everyone is doing well!!
During this period of absence, Chef Ling has went to Korea to look for her best friend, Chang Jin. Yes, that one from the Royal Kitchen.
Chef Ling has learnt the skills of 画-ing 出味道 from her. It has been a wonderful time catching up with Chang Jin. I have met Uncle De Jiu as well as Da shen whom till now, I still dunno her name. Poor thing, I think nobody really know what is her name..

Anyway, this is the recipe that Chef Ling is going to impart to you people out there..
TuPna Sandwich.


What YOU will need:


Tuna. The type of tuna is up to personal preferences but personally Chef Ling likes Water Chunk de tuna. It is more original tasting.



As the name suggests, the tuna is packed in chunked form. so you gotta smashed the chunks.



Chef Ling's favourite prawn.



the black black thing that you all see is the lungs of the prawns. Sometimes it is removed, sometimes it is not. Depends on the character of the person; whether he/she is lazy or not. According to Chang Jin's mentor (韩尚宫), you removed the lungs by using the prawn tail. Hm... Chef Ling haven't figured out how to do that yet.
Chef Ling normally removes the lungs from the head. Meaning, when you pull off the prawn head, usually the lungs will come out a litte, den you juz pull it out.
Chef Ling will call 韩尚宫 tonight, and ask her about the other method.




the type of bread that you like to go with the 料, is also up to you. but this time, Chef Ling uses these two types of bread.



Any kind of sandwich that is made by Chef Ling, there will be cheese.

this brand of milktea is not bad. juz add half a mug of water will do..

juz came back from the night ride with Daf and Lynn.. such night ride is good once in a while, when everyone chill out together..

actually wanted to go Siglap but the shops there closed too early..
(Oh yes, we got to Siglap at our first try! No U turns!)
so in the end, we ended up at our favourite hangout -- East Coast Park McCafe..

think the driver is a bit tired, so she keep missing the exits on our way back. we were trying to leave East Coast Park but juz couldn't find the exit out.. quite scary leh i think.. keep driving and driving but 就是cannot get out.. and everything seem to be wrong.. like 鬼打墙 like that.. =.=

den the driver also missed the turn into simei from expo there.. scary scary..
ha.. anyway, i am home now..
