since JIn's bday, i have been planning for my bday... sounds a bit too early but time passed so fast that today is already 24th SEPT!!! exactly 3 more months to my bday..

my initial plan is to haf a celebration on 24th Dec itself, at my dad's company bungalow.. but x'mas eve leh, surely got a lot of competitors balloting for that one and only bungalow.. so the chance of getting it is not high, unless i m super lucky..
SO, i gotta source for other chalet as well.. e.g. Aloha or SAF chalet.. but i would still prefer my dad's company bungalow coz it is big and cheap and convenient..

but then ah, i tot of another problem.. if i celebrate on x'mas eve itself, how many ppl will come? wld the people haf their own x'mas celebration? tt's y i m thinking whether to celebrate on 24th.. if i dun, i can choose to celebrate a week earlier or a day earlier...
maybe there will be a higher chance of getting the chalet and also a higher attendence? hm... in dilemma...

my plan for today is:
1. to wake up at 8am
2. buy Mac breakfast to enjoy
3. start doing my com-based assignment
4. go tuition
5. continue with assignment again
6. dinner
7. watch X-档案
8. do a bit more of assignment
9. watch Ju-On
10. SLEEP

yup... sounds very fulfilling.. BUT!! i woke up at 12.15pm.. haha...
so no Mac breakfast.. ate chili tuna bread as brunch..

today went to k-ge with Cherry and MingRong..

the ktv not bad leh.. although it is a CC ktv, the songs are very updated loh.. i think almost everyone will stereotype CC's ktv rite.. thinking that they only have Hokkien or super Oldies rite..
sorry loh.. you all are wrong loh.. the ktv has very updated songs.. got 把爱放开 ok?
even Mr. Kbox also dun have..
the best is that we sang for 5hrs, got 1 drink, den is ONLY $6!!! NETT!!!

I got a new haircut today.. very stylo-milo and rebellious one leh.. woohoo!!

and hor, my hair is styled by Kimage's boss ok?!! dun play play ah.. but she is really a 老将.. 下手 hor, will not 手下留情 one.. her snip is one big chunk ah.. woo!!

YOOHOO!!! finally finished filming!!!

as i mentioned in yesterday's post, my tasks for today are to teach the kids how to prepare sandwiches and to tell them a story..

i imagine that teaching the kids to prepare sandwiches would be a super tough job ocz the kids are very active, and i scared that they will haf a food fight..
BUT!! it turned out to be very good because i only haf to handle 6kids and most of them are the 乖 ones.. i think i did quite a good job is teaching about colours and shapes.. but hor, the production team hor, very cunning leh.. they plant in a 突发状况.. i think mine is quite a minor 状况.. (but because i am the last one to shoot for the task, i accidentally heard about the 突发状况 of one of the contestants.. so.. ya..) as for what is the 状况 and how i deal with it, u all watch the show 就 know liao loh.. i lazy to explain..

as for the story-telling, i think i have the advantage because my story is The Three Little Pigs... the characters in the story are not a lot and the plot almost 家喻户晓.. so i think the kids have also heard this story before.. that's y i am more able to act out the story.. ya..

so.... the results is that i have won loh.. haha.. i m now a half qualified childcare teacher ok??!! hur!! dun play play ah!!



basically i think i have quite enjoyed this experience.. not only to try try be on screen, i have also make some friends.. the crew is very friendly also.. expecially the 导播.. dunno why hor, she seems to like to bully me.. everytime i talk crap (coz i am a crapper, cannot resist crapping) ah, she will beat me one.. but tt's good lah ah, 好过 she bo chap anyone.. and of course, i get to know Mr 郭亮 more up-close and personal.. yoohoo!!!



so to help the good good 导播, the gameshow is still looking for participants for other occupations.. and they are:
- pet store assistant
- gardener
- florist
- hairstylist (this one hor, the saloon is really considering to employ people)

today is the long-waited filming day for the gameshow.. before i talk about the filming.. i noticed this orange car outsise the childcare centre.. everything inside is all orange loh...



i am the first contestant to perform.. to be exact, is to test water.. haha.. and the kids are .... WOW.... SUPER MISCHIEVOUS... SUPER RESTLESS!!!!!
den i introduced myself as 黄老师, and relate my surname with the yellow shirt that i am wearing.. den later hor, the kids begin to relate the colour of the clothes that the contestants are wearing to their surname.. so whoever wears yellow will be 黄老师, whoever wears blue will be 蓝老师.. hurhur..

anyway, my first task is to play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on piano and sing with them.. but hor, somne of the kids are very restless.. they juz play among their own and treat u as invisible.. some even dun want to sing also.. there is one who even 遮his耳朵 leh.. trying to act cool only.. coz when i play play and whisper into his covered ears ah, i think he got 偷笑 loh.. den i started to play my piano, generally most of them 乖乖 sit there and sing, but there are 2 boys ah, -.-"
these 2 boys ah, come and 搞 my piano.. 害我 cannot play properly.. -.-"

so this short short intro that maybe only has 10mins airtime, took all of us about 3hrs!! after that, all contestants, crew and 郭亮 go Lot 1 to haf lunch..
poor 郭亮 want to eat Mac but all the crew dun want.. haha.. so we contestants decided to 陪 him loh.. (and by the way, juz within 3 days, i have eaten 3 times Mac liao.. -.-")
yup... of course we chatted over lunch.. Mr 郭亮 is quite a nice guy.. i think it is quite comfortable to chat with him.. he got a lot of viewpoints on certain issues and he definitely know a lot of things too.. and ya, another factor that makes him a nice guy is that he treated us to sundaes!!! ha.. very good hor.. he said this is the first time he treated people (probably contestants lah.. ) hurhur... so honoured leh..


after lunch, we gotta perform another task.. the task i got is to bathe them.. but according to one of the teachers there, MCYS policy do not allow this to be on screen.. basically is because of children's rights.. come to think of that, i think it is reasonable also.. (i am a social work student and i didn know this.. **bad** but i learnt it now..) so in the end, the bathing changed to W.A.T.E.R P.L.A.Y！！！
-.-" GOSH...
so i have to bring 5kids for water play.. but one of them is scared of water.. duh.. and part of my task is to try to bring this kid to play.. the other 4 kids ah, as usual lah, super active one loh.. splashing water and want to splash me somemore!! 真坏蛋！！！ in the end, i got my pants all wet... but Giodarno is a good brand, coz within 1hr, my pants dry liao.. :)

and ya, i made it to the 2nd stage.. and now i haf to mentally prepare myself for tml's shooting.. my task is to haf a lesson with them to make sandwiches i think..
DIE... hope the food wil not fly around.. wish me luck man..

yes.. today went for the gameshow filming.. only shoot our zi4 wo3 jie4 shao4 part... my part is surfing the net and drink coffee.. so u all can imagine that I will be a cafe, sipping a glass of coffee and surfing net with a laptop.. so shiok rite??

anyway, i think my part is quite fast.. coz i juz have to sit there aand jia3 jia3 do some stuffs.. and thanks to the filming experience that miss kaili has exposed me to.. i think it really help, at least i know what to expect..

yesterday night i cannot sleep... too much caffaine i think.. coz yesterday i drank a cup of coffee at mediacorp.. the coffe powder is high class one bah.. normally coffee will not haf effect on me one.. this shows how powerful mediacorp's coffee is...



anyway, i am still searching for an URl of Ah Mei's "Open Your Eyes" to put as my blog song.. this song is now my No.1 song.. but sad.. till now i still cannnot find.. anyone noe where i can upload the song and den take the URL??

juz now jin gave me a list of URL for SuperStar songs.. my fav is Kelly's Mei Li Ben Nv Ren... i juz found out that the original version is sung by CoCo Lee.. but i think Kelly's version is nicer.. more sexy, powerful, deep and with more feelings..

juz now went for the gameshow's briefing..
basically there are a few rounds which we have to go thru..
1. give a self introduction to the kids.. bribe them to vote for you.. ( in this round i m going to play PIANO... shucks.)
2. a unexpected scenario.. (the producer refuse to say what it is.. say liao is not unexpected liao mah.. chey~~~)
3. teach the kids something -- transportation tools, animals, party deco, aerobics
4. tell them an interactive story -- 3 Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, Chang Er and Hou Yi (well..the producer is thinking of changing it anyway)

ya.. that's about it..


talking about the participants.. that time when i went for the audition, i mentioned to JIn that we are Slacker Arts (simply coz our dressing is slacky) and those who wear nice nice one are called Arts Arts (if i didn remember wrongly)..
so the final participants of the gameshow are basically belongs to the Slacker Arts type.. there is one Arts Arts, who is quite friendly, but i think she preferred the episode for models.. hurhur..
anyway, what i want to say is..
"first impression is very important and very misleading!!"
there was a participants whom I wld consider as a bimbo as my first impression.. coz hor, she took 5sec to blink her eyes..haha.. so u can imagine how slow and "act innocent" it may seem to others (such as me).. so when she took her 5sec blink, i was there um-chioing...

BUT!! she is a very friendly person hor.. quite jian tan... so i think we are now frens liao.. hurhur...


something about mediacorp..
i think bascially those working in the media industry (backstage one) are very friendly lah.. so far my experience with them is quite pleasant.. i think the producer of the game show is very li hai.. his command in chinese is super duper good.. coz for filming, we need to give an intro of ourselves.. den of course you need to say why you are interested in being a Kindergarten teacher..
so this producer, having a lot of experience in variety shows and his good command in chinese, he is able to create a few nice lines for you..
I juz say i want to xue2 yi3 zhi4 yong4, den he juz churned out a few lines within mins.. pei fu pei fu...

juz now watch the 非你莫属 gameshow and yucks....... cannot imagine myself on tv... national tv somemore... eeeeeeeeee......
all the participants like die die also want to be a chef like that.. den when they kena kicked out, they all like feeling very 可惜..
so i have already prepare my speech if (**choy**) i kena kicked out "eh.. 我觉得还好啦.. 我又不想当幼稚园老师.. " sounds so cool rite? but i think the 导播 will blacklist me forever.. hurhur..

now i am starting to think what are the tasks that i need to perform..
1. 绕口令 (i heard from the coordinator one)
2. ask the kids to 排队 in the shortest time
3. teach the class to write chinese words, sing song, dance..
4. read story to the children
5. give food to the children
6. some unexpected circumstances like clearing the sh sh of a kid, bringing chldren to toilet..

shld be more or less like that rite.. cannot think of anything liao leh..

oh ya, if u guys got watch the show juz now, pls do not expect me to cry loh..
IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!

For those who admires me (e.g. jin's cousin, RY etc.. .. ), u guys can feel free to tape down my episode and re-watch at ur own time.. BUT!!!! DO NOT, DO NOT burn a copy for me.. it feel so yucky to see myself on tv... YUCKS....


hm... but 想想一下.. if u all really want to give me a copy, hm... give lah give lah.. i can play during my bday party.. haha...

but this is not the period that i really really know her..

it is the period when we are in different JC, different uni, doing different things (she go her Fish Leong, i go my S.H.E), den i started to be very shou with her..

how weird is that.. .. life is always full weird and wonderful stuff..

anyway, i am quite honoured to be invited to RY's birthday party.. 毕竟我们dun really haf a direct link.. tt's why i am worrying about which group i shld go for photo taking session.. hurhur.. den SOMEONE suggested JY's Fren group.. hallo??? den everyone is ur fren loh.. chey.. but in the end, I am in FD group.. BUT!!! I AM NOT A FISH FAN!!! I AM A 200% LOYAL S.H.E FAN!! AND I AM IN S.H.E FANCLUB!!!

throughout the party i also dunno what i do.. eat together with FD, loner around with XY (and sometimes RY's sis), played Polar Bear with SRJC ppl.. Polar Bear game is quite fun leh.. i 亲情眼目睹 a 最佳排档 polar bears... so 厉害 man.. but they still didn manage to kill Mr Hunter..
i think tt's all bah.. not bad lah.. get to know new people like mabel, debbie, yaodong, clement..

Oh ya, I LIKE the COFFEE CHEESECAKE!!! SUPER NICE!! but i cannot order that for my bday, coz got someone dun eat cheescake...

but anyway, i am sourcing for a venue, cake and catering for my bday..
for venue, my dad is trying to book his company bungalow.. but if anyone got good lobang hor, pls tell me ok?
for cake, i think considering the Choc-a-bloc cake.. from the name, of course is chocolate cake.. the shop is very ya-ya one ok? only accept orders from 3 days before loh.. No cakes on shelf one loh.. they dun haf any shelf anyway..

woo!!! juz now received a phone call from Medicorp.. they asked me to act in a local drama as the main lead together with Zoe Tay.. woohoo!!!

ya.. like real.. but Mediacorp did call me.. they asked me if i m interested to part in a gameshow.. If win, got $2000? (hm.. like too much hor? mamybe i remember wrongly.. )If lose, also got $150 loh.. not bad rite?? but the problem is that I will have to sacrifice 4days for them, 9am to 7pm.. den one day falls on school days, the other 3 days luckily is during sem break..
the person say that the gameshow is about childcare, something like interacting with kids... Hallo? I am an expert in this ok?? hurhur...
coz i only can make it for the last 3 days, they cannot book me.. so i have to wait for their call again... **sadz**

yoohoo!!! I LOVE TC!!!

today went to a volunteer appreciation high tea at Plaza ParkRoyal Hotel.. for free!!! so no chance to fight with them for the lucky draw.. **sobz** the lucky draw prizes not bad leh, got digicam, mini fridge, swatch, mp3player, steamer, dvd player and blah blah blah.. really not bad hor??

but anyway, this high tea ah, is really the TC style.. so fun!! so noisy!!
every staff and volunteers is so sporting and crazy leh...
except for me.. haha.. me antisocial mah.. but i got take part in a game leh.. and tt's my favourite.. CHARADE.. (eh, how come dun haf my "win, lose or draw" ah?)
and so sad!!! dear nic didn bring her digicam!!! seems like throughout the placement at TC hor, i didn take any photos leh.. 一个也没有!!! so 遗憾 leh... didn capture my good times in TC.. even during big event like the Elder Abuse Campaign hor, also didn take photos.. ARGH... den today also didn take... AGRH!!!

anyway, I feel like I am quite a part of the TC family liao leh.. i always felt like a 小孩子.. somemore is the childish type.. hurhur..
