finally, a friday night that was spent fulfillingly..

ever since i started work, my life is
wake up --> work --> tuition/ home --> sleep --> wake up
the cycle juz go on and on and on and on and on..
weekends have become my precious weekends where i spent them "fulfillingly" at home, watching You Tube, and vcds sponsored by wei wei..

tentative outings on fri nights have been cancelled either due to insufficient attendence or ppl like me who have captain's ball match or need to see doctor at the last min.. in short, flew plane at the last min.. ha..

but, the past is the past.. yesterday's night outing shld have broken the spell that resulted in the boring life cycle of Ling..

Went to have dinner at PS's Cafe Cartel with tlt.. as usual, any place with tlt will be a noisy place..
Subsequently we went to the TCC next door to chill out, after saying goodbye to Lynn who shld be at Beijing now.. So cool.. Does CGH depatch staff overseas??

oh yes, and I promise. I WOULD NOT BE CHOOSEY ABOUT INDOOR OR OUTDOOR SEAT LE!! I PROMISE!!
At TCC, i found another nice drink other den my all-time favourite Mighty Joe Young
-- Mint Choc Frappe!! Not-too-sweet coffe with a tinge of mint. NICE!

and so, my fri night is spent this way.. took the last train, took the last bus, and slept at 4am.. .. ..

Forbidden City Day

Once again, I want to say, "Forbidden City: The Portrait of an Empress" is S.U.P.E.R.B!!
All thanks to Skye that we managed to get Cat 2 tix at 66 bucks!! My colleagues were so "angry" with me that they had paid 6bucks more than me, and yet they sat one row behind me.. **smurk**


Anyway, after the musical, the 5 of us decided to go for a drink. Paulynn's zhan-mu-si joined us later.. Wondering if he thinks that we are a bunch of 3-8 bitches..

The Return of Project Super Star

The return of Project Superstar nearly marked the birth of a superstar who is typing her post away.. nearly..




This season of Project Superstar is definitely much more efficient than the previous season. Anyway, being a MSW, positive thinking is out trait..
Previous season, I sang only 1 line and the "evil" judges rang me out.. :(
For this season, I managed to sing 3-4 lines!! Yeah!!



I have decided. I shall go for every season, until I pass the first round.

I am a easily satisfied person

Another of my dream fulfilled..

My first dream:
In my life time, I muz at least go for one concert..

I fulfilled that last year when S.H.E had their concert in Singapore..




My second dream:
In my life time, I muz at least go for a musical..

I fulfilled this dream juz now!! I finally get to watch Forbidden City!!
It is really an awesome experience.. I want to say it again (even though i have told Paulynn and Cherry), I AM VERY IMPRESSED BY THE "LIVE" ORCHESTRA!!!

If you did not take a good look around the theatre, you might think that the music is actually played from CD. But NO. The orchestra is actually under the stage!!
Or maybe it is me who is very sua-ku.. probably every muscial's music does come from a 'live' orchestra..
But anyway, it was a great music and the singing is 天衣无缝..
Kit Chan's vocal is superb. Actually the main casts' vocal is all superb.
The 'aged' Empress Dowager did a good job is the crying part.. Dunno whether she is really crying or not..
Hossan Leong and Partner have done a good job in creating a livelier atmosphere for the musical.
Cool.


My third dream:
To find a boyfriend.
Ha ha..

Maybe me 101th dream fulfilled le this dream still not fulfilled.

Putting that aside, anyone interested in Lee Hom's Concert???

I watched this korean movie "Daisy" this afternoon, and i muz say that this is a really really good movie!! I strongly recommend it!!

Nice plot, the pace of the movie is juz nice, nice movie style.. everything is good!!
but 美中不足 is this dvd i had, was dubbed in china chinese.. :<


so if anyone has this movie's original dvd, pls lend me ok!!

today is supposed to be a nice friday whereby I can supposedly file away loads of case files.. .. ..

but my good-de-ness, i did nothing but seeing patients today, and adding on to the piles of casefiles rather than filing them away.. :<


oh yes, i received this letter today..
