today is Ling's 23rd birthday... Ho ho ho.. only 23 years old... Bu well, I do look much older with that smelly-old (direct translation from cao lao in hokkien) face.

Sobz. Still gotta work on my birthday. Coz as advised by HBH, taking off on a half-day is equivalent to taking one day, so not worth it.

Yup. So Ling did not take off on 24th. It was a quiet 23rd birthday. Had lunch-cum-tea-cum-dinner at Swenson's and Coffee Bean with Circle of Trust.

Family Carnival @ Sentosa II

After the defeating Amazing Race (booboo de..) ... We decided to still enjoy ourselves..

So after the Family Carnival, we checked in into Siloso Resort. Quite nice though. No photos that night coz Ling is too sick and she just fell asleep like a pig. And she even missed the gossips-of-the-night.

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we began our Sentosa one day tour.

Our first stop. Sky ride.

Poor Bee Hong. Stucked with 2 people who are afraid of heights.

Next stop. The Luge.


Next Stop. Underwater World. Tell u a secret: This is Ling' first time going to underwater world!!. Too bad it is too crowded, if not it will be more enjoyable.


Next Stop. Dolphin Lagoon.

Next Stop. Back to hotel room.

Next Stop. Home.

Sorry for the delay... Ling's PC is still not ok.. So = no updates. But anyway, November in 2007 was quite a busy month for Boring Cerene.



Ling went to her mother's sister's mother-in-law's 80th birthday celebration at Spring Court. Ling likes such family gathering.. It is a good time to catch up with cousins and aunties, and maybe, to catch some eye candy. ;)

On the following Saturday, was the CGH Family Carnival.. This is the event that Ling has been looking forward to!!! At sentosa leh!!!

But the most exciting things is --- Ling and her team had missions on that day..
- Amazing Race and Sand Castle Competition.

Wow... it has really been some time since the last post!! Pardon me..
THe reason for being not so updated is that my CPU has once again failed me... The ventilator fan is reported to be not working, thus, the whole computer can't even be on.
Anyway, lotsa events/ activities happened since 9th Nov.. Ling shall post some of the photos here ..

One of the proudest events... "Outstanding Social Worker Award" at Istana.. Though I look a bit fat (ok... maybe not a bit but very fat) here, give me a few years to lose weight k? I shall be slimmer when I receive the award... Muah ahahahaha...

Chalet @ Costa Sands Pasir Ris... A combination of hotdogs, nicely prepared by my cousin-in-law...

My cute nephew... Though only 3 years old, very clever and bright... Especially learning those have-and-no-have things..
