"Scholar" leaving on a jet plane..
Chicken rice for lunch... not bad, seriously!
It has been quite a process of ups-and-downs with the Ministry giving late approval for the course, questioning the modules that I have opted to take, delay in paying the course fees (dunno if the payment has been made at this point of time!), lots of ding-dongs with the HRD about nitty gritty things.. And yes, I know the allowance is to defray the cost and not to cover it.. but well... ... things are as expensive in HK as in UK leh.... And of course, the whole big issue about accommodation!!
Mum said that maybe because she has been helping people to find rental rooms in SG, that's why there are people who are helping to find accommodation in HK! I guess that is what they call Kharma isn't it? I think my work as MSW helps to bring good kharma too!
In fact, I must say that I have been very very very (x infinity) to get connected with Mr Wu in HK. Where got such helpful people (except me) in SG?? Went all out to source for accommodation, receives me at the airport, brought me for dinner and intends to bring me around HK..
Dinner at Victoria Harbour Restaurant..
I think I will not bear to leave this place to my 10x smaller 1-room rental flat in early Sept!!!
