EffeciveArts presents Family Approach Training Day I

GCC and Zahara have been sort of recommending me to go for this course, because you get to learn from simulations aka role plays. (http://www.effectivearts.com)

So here I am, attending the course with Hilli (luckily) today. With some insider info from Muz, we sat at the front (partly coz the other seats were mostly taken), and I volunteered to go for the first role play.

I must say that the actors and actress were really acting very VERY VERY well!! They were all SO into their characters that the emotions were so real! By real, I mean that there were REAL tears, real anger etc.. I can even remember how the whole atmosphere sank when the Dr announced that the patient is brain dead. I can really feel THAT! Claps for the actors and actresses.

So, the first role play had quite minimal talkings from the MSW, which i am not too sure if that is good or bad.. Coz I am just doing what i usually do -- handling tissues, giving some pats on shoulders, eyeing around for emotional family members. But I am glad that I have made a mental note to speak to one family member individually.

Lets see what are the coaches up to tomorrow. **excited + anxious**
