Cakes nowadays are getting more fanciful and more expensive.. U have famous names like Choc-a-bloc, Lana and The Patissier..
Lucky Ling went to Ann Siang Road today to pick up a Patissier cake that she won through a lucky draw.. Lost her way to Ann Siang Road, but thanks to the good guidance of JX, she found that out Ann Siang Road is only just next to the URA..
... ... Didn't managed to buy my S.H.E cds though. :(
Double Chocolate Praline
Rich praline sandwiched between layers of chocolate mousse with crunchy chocolaty crust.
The box of cake went empty in 4hrs time!!
THE Cake:
- Soft, with a crunchy base
- Topped with generous amount of cocoa powder (i like) and caster sugar
- Fruits, especially the strawberries, are very fresh and nice
- Praline, i supposed was made from hazelnuts, has a very rich hazelnut taste.
Overall:
Not too sweet. But could taste better with more bitter choc.
Ling is one who likes bitter choc.
And oh, credits to my best maid in house (only when you feed him with good food, to make him be in good mood), who enthusiastically volunteered to "收工" (as in clean up)
